The current Bankruptcy Laws have been in effect since October 17, 2005. They are more complex in many ways than the former laws. Interestingly enough however, most people who qualified for relief under the old laws also qualify under the new laws.
There is no indication that there are going to be any major changes coming to the bankruptcy laws as of this writing in the summer of 2008. We will post any major changes as soon as they occur.
